]]> Attention all Division Governors, Area Governors and others wishing to go for DTM.  I recently received several notices of people looking to start new clubs as well as a list of clubs needing coaches.  I need help going out to perspective clubs and introducing Toastmasters and having mentors to build these clubs.   I also have a long list of clubs that need new members and are in need of a club coach.  Coaches are needed in all Divisions.  Mentors are needed in DC, Virginia and Southern MD as well.

I will be providing a information to the Division Governors this week at the District meeting.  If anyone is interested in coaching, mentoring or helping to build new clubs please contact me by e-mail @gary.mcginnis@dot.gov.  thanks in advance.

]]> District Governor, Bessie Johnson, DTM, is seeking persons to serve on the nominating committee. Past District Governor Barbara Hunt is the Nominating Committee Chair. At this time we offer the opportunity to each of you to aid the District by becoming committee members and possible interviewers. ]]> It’s that time of year again. Yes it’s time to get your officers trained and ready for the last half of the Toastmasters year. Make sure your officers are trained. It goes towards your District Club Plan goals. And although we would love to have them all trained in District 27,  they can choose to go to another district and be trained.

It’s a great way to get refreshed for the new year, pick up some new ideas to enliven and enrich your club and a great place to network and meet some great new friends. And it’s not just limited to officers. It’s free to any Toastmasters member. In fact why not consider sending a member who is thinking about running for office for the 2012-2013 year?
