Recognition for 2005/2006

Immediate Past District Governor Vince Caldwell named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2005/2006:

  • Division Governor of the Year - Division C Governor, John Kinsman, ATM-G, AL
  • Area Governor of the Year - Area 12 Governor, Janine Finnell, ATM-B
  • Club President of the Year - Challenger Toastmasters, #1642, Carlanda Jones, CTM, CL
  • Toastmaster of the Year, Viki Kinsman, DTM, PDG

Recognition for 2004/2005

At the International Convention, The Hall of Fame honors districts and individual Toastmasters for their achievements during the year. From District 27, for the 2004-2005 year:

  • Donna Gordon received recognition for leading District 27 to Distinguished Status.
  • Vince Caldwell received the Excellence in Education and Training Award for inspiring and encouraging 293 CTM's and 130 ATM's.
  • Aref Dajani received the Excellence in Marketing award for leading the District to expand to 174 clubs and encouraging 7,313 dues payments during the year.

Immediate Past District Governor Donna Gordon named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2004-2005:

  • Division Governor of the Year - Division C Governor, Alonzo White, DTM
  • Area Governor of the Year - Area 63 Governor, David Hsieh, ATM-S
  • Club President of the Year - All in the Family, #5646, Rick Eshbach, CTM
  • Toastmaster of the Year- Nathan Hale, #6967, Cora Jacobson, ATM-B

Recognition for 2003/2004

At the International Convention, The Hall of Fame honors districts and individual Toastmasters for their achievements during the year. From District 27, for the 2003-2004 year:

  • Donna Gordon received the Excellence in Education and Training Award. Inspiring and encouraging 267 CTMs and 125 ATMs is a notable accomplishment.

Immediate Past District Governor Viki Kinsman named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2003-2004:

  • Division Governor of the Year - Division F Governor, Emilia Snider, DTM
  • Area Governor of the Year - Area 47 Governor, Heath Suddleson, ATM-S
  • Club President of the Year - Speak Out at SAIC Club, #6984, Ayme Pointer, ATM-B
  • Toastmaster of the Year- New Southwest, #3314, Diane Brockington, DTM

Recognition for 2002/2003

At the International Convention, The Hall of Fame honors districts and individual Toastmasters for their achievements during the year. From District 27, for the 2002-2003 year:

  • Viki Kinsman received the Excellence in Education and Training Award. Inspiring and encouraging 292 CTMs and 120 ATMs is a notable accomplishment.

Immediate Past District Governor Michael Schultz named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2002-2003:

  • Division Governor of the Year: Aref Dajani, DTM
  • Area Governor of the Year: Johnsie Cogman, ATM-S
  • Toastmaster of the Year: Bessie Johnson, DTM

Recognition for 2001/2002

Immediate Past District Kathy Fox has named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2001-2002:

  • Division Governor of the Year - Division F Governor Donna Gordon, ATM-S
  • Area Governor of the Year - Area 33 Governor Fred Ferate, ATM-B
  • Toastmaster of the Year - Ralph Sierra, CTM
  • President of the Year - DCMA Club #6880 - Patrick Ring, CTM

Recognition for 2000/2001

At the International Convention, The Hall of Fame honors districts and individual Toastmasters for their achievements during the year. From District 27, for the 2000-2001 year:

  • Kathy Fox received the Excellence in Education and Training Award. See her standing on stage with Jo Anna McWilliams to receive the "Excellence in Education and Training" award. It is a memory she will and should cherish. Inspiring and encouraging 296 CTMs and 122 ATMs is a notable accomplishment.
  • Linda Schultz was recognized as District 27's Toastmaster of the Year.
  • Viki Kinsman was recognized as District 27's Division Governor of the Year.

Also at the International Convention:

  • A special honor was given to Dorothy and Tim Daly, who received a Presidential Citation for exceptional service.
  • Bennie Bough gave a great presentation on building great clubs, and he recognized our own Helen Burkett, one of the first women to become a Toastmaster, as a great example of an informal leader.

In addition, Immediate Past District Governor Booker named District 27's outstanding Toastmasters for 2000-2001:

  • Area Governor of the Year: Nelson Latona
  • Club President of the Year: Cynthia Miller
